Versatile Event Designs wanted to obliterate every bottleneck between a prospect’s first click and a fully paid, fully staffed event. We kept Photobiz for its rock-solid hosting and gallery tools, but rebuilt the front end from scratch in semantic HTML, modern CSS utilities, and vanilla JavaScript to escape template limits. Every public-facing package, add-on, and availability indicator mirrors its counterpart inside CheckCherry, so when visitors jump to a proposal they never sense a platform change. CheckCherry’s branded environment now issues elegant proposals, captures e-signatures, and processes payments through Square, PayPal, or Venmo, all in a single, branded flow. Staff receive real-time calendar locks, office managers monitor a unified dashboard, and couples glide from price exploration to confirmation in minutes instead of days.
Versatile’s legacy system scattered essential tasks across PDFs, phone calls, and separate Google calendars, forcing double entry, causing missed follow-ups, and wasting weekends on admin work. Off-the-shelf Photobiz website themes were not conversion optimized or linked with any CRM or multi-step booking UX, but the platform had features making it worthwhile. Modern couples expect modern digital wallets and auto-receipts, yet payments still required manual chasing, and scattered reviews offered no way to filter by DJ, lighting crew, or photo-booth team. Finally, field staff met prospects at events but had no standardized, trackable method to capture leads on the spot—leaving priceless data stuck in pockets instead of pipelines.
